Ind. Code § 14-13-9-24 – Uses of money collected from special assessments

A county shall use money retained under section 22(d) of this chapter for the following purposes:

(1) To improve flood storage capacity along the tributaries of the Kankakee River and the Yellow River.
(2) Flood control and drainage projects within the basin.
