Sale of intentionally introduced alkaline-manganese battery

As added by P.L.1-1996, SEC.10.
  1. (a) This section does not apply to an alkaline-manganese button cell battery if each button cell does not have more than twenty-five (25) milligrams of mercury.
  2. (b) A person may not:

    1. (1) sell;
    2. (2) offer for sale; or
    3. (3) offer for promotional purposes;

      an alkaline-manganese battery that contains mercury that was intentionally introduced if the battery was manufactured after December 31, 1995.
