The criteria and standards developed under section 28(a)(3) of this chapter for appropriate prescribing that are implemented must reflect the local practices of physicians to monitor the following:

1. (1) Therapeutic appropriateness.
2. (2) Overutilization or underutilization.
3. (3) Therapeutic duplication.
4. (4) Drug-disease contraindications.
5. (5) Drug-drug interactions.
6. (6) Incorrect drug dosage or duration of drug treatment.
7. (7) Clinical abuse and misuse.
