As used in this chapter, "uniformed services" means the following:
- (1) The United States Army.
- (2) The United States Air Force.
- (3) The United States Navy.
- (4) The United States Marine Corps.
- (5) The United States Space Force.
- (6) The United States Coast Guard.
- (7) The commissioned corps of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
- (8) The commissioned corps of the Public Health Service.
