An individual serving in the military police force of the Indiana National Guard who is authorized to exercise police powers under section 3 of this chapter may:
(1) make an arrest;
(2) conduct a search or seizure of a person or property;
(3) carry a firearm; and
(4) exercise other police powers with respect to the enforcement of Indiana laws.
