1. (a) This section applies only to an eligible entity that is an individual.

2. (b) The amount of loss that may be compensated for damages to an individual's property:

   1. (1) must be at least five hundred dollars ($500); and
   2. (2) may not be more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000).
3. (c) Only one (1) individual per residence is eligible for compensation under this section.
