1. (a) The criminal justice data division is established within the department.
2. (b) The division is under the administrative control and jurisdiction of the superintendent.

3. (c) The superintendent may:

   1. (1) staff the division with personnel necessary for its efficient operation; and

   2. (2) adopt rules to carry out the purposes of this chapter.
