1. (a) The department shall operate the Indiana intelligence fusion center under the direction of the governor.

2. (b) The department shall cooperate with:

   1. (1) the department of homeland security;
   2. (2) local, state, or federal government agencies; and

   3. (3) private organizations;

      subject to applicable state and federal laws and regulations, including 28 CFR 23.
