1. (a) Registrations shall be renewed annually. The registered cultivation center shall receive written notice 90 days prior to the expiration of its current registration that the registration will expire. The Department of Agriculture shall grant a renewal application within 45 days of its submission if the following conditions are satisfied:

   1. (1) the registered cultivation center submits a renewal application and the required renewal fee established by the Department of Agriculture by rule; and
   2. (2) the Department of Agriculture has not suspended the registration of the cultivation center or suspended or revoked the registration for violation of this Act or rules adopted under this Act.
