- (a) Except as provided in Section 7 below, for the 1986-87 academic year and for each academic year thereafter, no art or craft material which is a toxic substance as defined in this Act, shall be ordered or purchased by any school or school district in Illinois for use in kindergarten or grades one through 6, inclusive.
- (b) Commencing June 1, 1986, no toxic substance may be purchased or ordered by a school or school district for use by students in grades 7 through 12, unless it meets the labeling standards specified in this Act.
