Standards for Forms of Payment

AUTHORITY: Implementing Sections 15.5 and 15.6 and authorized by Section 16 of the Personal Property Storage Act [240 ILCS 10/15.5, 15.6 and 16].ILLINOIS COMMERCE COMMISSION

a) Personal property warehouses shall accept payment tendered in the following forms:
1) Cash;
2) Cashier's check; or
3) Money order.
b) Bartering is not permissible.
