Filing and Renewal of Liens

a) The Department shall file a lien against:
1. 1) The homestead property owned by:
  1. A) a recipient of AABD; or
    1. B) a permanently institutionalized recipient of MANG(A), (B) or (D), except as provided in Section 102.235;
    2. 2) Any other legal or equitable real property interests, regardless of value, which the recipient owns.
b) The lien shall be renewed every five years by the Department until it is satisfied.
