Membership Terms

Reg. 3957AUTHORITY: Implementing Section 3 of the Disabled Persons Rehabilitation Act [20 ILCS 2405/3]; and Sections 5-505 and 5-550 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois [20 ILCS 5/5-505 and 5-550]; and the Bureau for the Blind Act [20 ILCS 2410]; and Section 6 of the Head and Spinal Cord Injury Act [410 ILCS 515/6].DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

a) Members shall serve 3-year terms and until their successors are appointed by the Governor with the advice and consent of the Senate. [410 ILCS 515/6(a)].
c) Except ex-officio members, no member shall serve more than 6 consecutive years on the Council.
