Real Property Liens

AUTHORITY: Implementing Articles I through IX and authorized by Section 12-13 of the Illinois Public Aid Code [305 ILCS 5/Arts. I through IX and 12-13].DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES

a) all medical assistance paid out at any time for a permanently institutionalized recipient, and
b) all income maintenance assistance paid to or on behalf of a recipient on or after the following dates:
Assistance Program Effective Date
AABD(A) January 1962
AABD(B) and (D) November 1963

The Department's lien against a recipient's real property shall encompass:
