Administering Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA)
AUTHORITY: Authorized by the State Employees Group Insurance Act of 1971 [5 ILCS 375].DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
SURS shall be responsible for compliance with the continuation of benefits requirements of COBRA. All premiums must be collected and transmitted by SURS.
