1. a) The Director may approve the separation of a probationary employee who fails to satisfactorily complete the probationary period. Employees who have not been certified in their current period of continuous service may not appeal a probationary separation.
2. b) Employees who are separated for failure to satisfactorily complete the probationary period, but who have been certified during their current period of continuous service, may appeal the separation.
3. c) On appeal, a probationary separation will be reversed only if the separation was determined to violate Section 302.790.
