Categories of Horse Racing
Effective Nov 26, 198610 Ill. Reg. 20468AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by the State Fair Act [20 ILCS 210]; implementing Section 40.14 and authorized by Section 16 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois [20 ILCS 5/16 and 40.14].DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE
a) State Fair Colt Stakes;
b) Review Futurity Stakes;
c) Illinois Trotting and Pacing Colt Stakes;
d) Quarter Horse Races; and
e) World Trotting Derby (DuQuoin).
Horse racing shall be permitted at the State Fair in the following general categories:
