Who May File a Complaint
AUTHORITY: Implementing Sections 6, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43 of the "Soil and Water Conservation Districts Act," approved May 22, 1961, effective July 1, 1961, as amended (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1979, ch. 5, par. 111, 138.4, 138.5, 138.6, 138.7, 138.8, 138.9 and 138.10) and authorized by Section 16 of the "Civil Administrative Code of Illinois," approved March 7, 1917, effective July 1, 1917, as amended (Ill. Any person or group of persons may file a complaint on forms provided by the district or Department if it is believed a serious erosion and sediment problem exists. The district or Department may, on its own initiative, file a complaint when it believes a serious erosion and sediment problem exists.
