1. a) The facility shall designate a staff member to provide social services to residents. If the staff member designated to provide social services is not a social worker, the facility shall have an effective arrangement with a social worker to provide social service consultation.
2. b) The facility shall have a written agreement for activity program consultation if required under Section 330.1310(c).
3. c) The facility shall obtain consultation, as needed, from a dietician if therapeutic diets are prescribed (see Section 330.1940(e)).
4. d) If the facility does not employ a registered professional nurse, the facility shall arrange for consultation from a registered nurse. The consultant shall assist with developing policies, methods and procedures relating to the medical program, medication, in-service on these medications and in-service training on all aspects of personal care.
