Prohibited Work Practices
Effective Feb 8, 201943 Ill. Reg. 2440AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by the Lead Poisoning Prevention Act [410 ILCS 45].DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
a) Open flame burning;
b) Dry sanding;
c) Open abrasive blasting;
d) Uncontained exterior hydro-blasting;
e) Interior hydro-blasting;
f) Methylene chloride application; or
g) Dry scraping.
No person conducting lead abatement or lead mitigation shall employ any of the following methods:
