1. a) The screening battery for children wearing glasses shall consist of:

   1. 1) Observation (appearance, behavior, and complaint);
   2. 2) Inspection of the lenses and frames for problems; and
   3. 3) Determination of the child's last visit to an eye doctor.
2. b) The screening battery for children wearing contact lenses shall consist of (a)(1) and (3) of this Section.
3. c) Instrument screening of children wearing glasses or contact lenses is not appropriate.
