Dual Licensure

Reg. 9512AUTHORITY: Implementing the Real Estate License Act of 2000 [225 ILCS 454] and authorized by Section 2105-15(7) of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois (Department of Professional Regulation Law) [20 ILCS 2105].DEPARTMENT OF FINANCIAL AND PROFESSIONAL REGULATION

a) A licensee may not simultaneously hold licenses as a:
1. 1) Managing broker and residential leasing agent;
2. 2) Managing broker and broker; or
3. 3) Broker and residential leasing agent.
  1. b) Upon the issuance of a new license, the prior license shall be cancelled and no longer active unless there is a request to transfer pursuant to Section 1450.550.
