1. a) Pre-license Education Courses

   1. 1) Pre-license education must include:

   2. A) a 60-hour pre-license course; and

      1. B) a pre-license field course that includes 5 field inspection events and a final field examination.
   3. 2) Both courses in subsection (a)(1) shall be approved by the Division and only accepted from licensed education providers.
2. b) Pre-license education shall only be valid for 2 years following satisfactory completion of all of the pre-license education in order to sit for the written examination authorized by the Department.
3. c) No applicant shall be allowed to take the written examination unless the applicant provides satisfactory evidence of completion of all the pre-license education requirements.

Any person who makes an application for a home inspector license shall be required, as a pre-requisite to the written, licensure examination, to successfully complete 60 credit hours of pre-license instruction, 5 field inspection events, and a final field examination in courses of study pursuant to Subpart F.
