1. a) were included in the Illinois Sex Offender Management Board Approved Provider List;
2. b) held an active license as a sex offender treatment provider with 5 years clinical experience providing sex offender treatment; or
3. c) if the experience was gained out of state, meet the qualifications required to receive a license as a sex offender treatment provider under the Act.

An applicant must complete 400 hours of supervised experience in the treatment of sex offenders in the last 4 years. At least 200 of these 400 supervised hours must be face-to-face therapy with sex offenders.
