Use of Diesel in High Volume Horizontal Hydraulic Fracturing Operations is Prohibited
AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by the Hydraulic Fracturing Regulatory Act [225 ILCS 732].DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES
It is unlawful to perform any high volume horizontal hydraulic fracturing operations by knowingly or recklessly injecting diesel (Section 1-25(d) of the Act).
