1. a) Staff Attorneys hired pursuant to Section 8-101(E) of the Act shall adhere to the highest standards of ethical conduct, support the Commission's mission, goals, and objectives, and instill in the public a sense of confidence in the Commission's operations.

2. b) The standard of conduct for Staff Attorneys and other Commission employees includes, but is not limited to:

   1. 1) adherence to Commission personnel rules, procedural directives, and accountability to the members of the Commission and the Executive Director;
   2. 2) treatment of all Commission staff, the public, and colleagues with courtesy, respect, objectivity and fairness;
   3. 3) conduct of all Commission business in a timely and transparent manner, with full adherence to Commission policies and procedures; and
   4. 4) engagement in the Commission's decisionmaking process, to the extent requested by the Commission.
