Purpose and Scope

The purpose of this Part is to define the word "salary" as used in Section 3-125 and 4-124 of the Illinois Pension Code [40 ILCS 5/3-125 and 4-124] as it applies to pension funds formed pursuant to Articles 3 and 4 of the Illinois Pension Code.
