Sale of Scrap
AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by Sections 67.15 and 67.22 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois [20 ILCS 405/67.15 and 67.22] and Sections 1 through 7, 8 and 9 of the State Property Control Act [30 ILCS 605/1-7, 8 and 9].DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
a) Scrap shall be disposed of by selling it to the highest bidder at public sale.
b) Agencies shall be authorized by Property Control Division to sell the scrap collected by the agency. Authorization shall be granted if the criteria in Section 5010.960 are met.
