Exceptions to Trade-In Procedure

Reg. 5637AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by Sections 67.15 and 67.22 of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois [20 ILCS 405/67.15 and 67.22] and Sections 1 through 7, 8 and 9 of the State Property Control Act [30 ILCS 605/1-7, 8 and 9].DEPARTMENT OF CENTRAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES
a) Certain equipment is exempt from the standard trade-in procedures. Such equipment includes:
1) motor vehicles (see Subpart VII); and
2) equipment purchased from sources other than the General Revenue Fund.
b) Any questions about exempt equipment should be directed to the Department.
