Scope and Applicability
AUTHORITY: Implementing Sections 7.2, 21, 21.1, 22, 22.17, and 22.40 and authorized by Section 27 of the Environmental Protection Act [415 ILCS 5/7.2, 21, 21.1, 22, 22.17, 22.40, and 27].POLLUTION CONTROL BOARD
a) This Subpart applies to all landfills permitted by the Agency pursuant to Section 21 of the Act, including landfills operated onsite, with or without a permit, that accept special wastes.
b) The standards of this Subpart apply in addition to the standards of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 809.
c) Inspection, testing or acceptance of waste by a solid waste management facility shall not relieve the generator or transporter of responsibility for compliance with the requirements of 35 Ill. Adm. Code: Subtitle G.
