1. a) Persons who seek active or limited accreditation in medical radiation technology shall pass the appropriate examination as specified in subsection (b).

2. b) Examinations appropriate to category of accreditation are as follows:

   1. 1) Medical Radiography

      The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (ARRT)

   2. 2) Nuclear Medicine Technology

      1. A) The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (N) (ARRT)
      2. B) The Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)

   3. 3) Radiation Therapy Technology

      The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (T) (ARRT)

   4. 4) Chiropractic Radiography

      American Chiropractic Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ACRRT), provided that the examination was administered after June 30, 1984

   5. 5) Radiologist Assistant

      1. A) The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (RRA) (ARRT)
      2. B) Certification Board for Radiology Practitioner Assistants (RPA) (CBRPA)

   6. 6) Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate

      The Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMAA) (NMTCB)

   7. 7) Limited Diagnostic Radiography

      1. A) The exam will cover general radiography topics and, depending on the type of limited radiography sought, specific questions related to radiography of the chest, extremities, skull/sinus or spine.
      2. B) Applicants shall follow all rules established by ARRT for the examination, including ARRT's right to bar applicants from the exam for misconduct or irregular behavior.

   8. C) All exams shall be scheduled through the Agency.

   9. D) The passing score shall be 65 percent for any combination

      of sections of the exam.
