Categories of Accreditation
Effective Aug 22, 201337 Ill. Reg. 14008AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by Sections 5, 6, 7 and 36 of the Radiation Protection Act of 1990 [420 ILCS 40].ILLINOIS EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AGENCY AND OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY
a) Medical Radiography;
b) Nuclear Medicine Technology;
c) Radiation Therapy Technology;
d) Chiropractic Radiography;
e) Limited Diagnostic Radiography;
f) Radiologist Assistant; and
g) Nuclear Medicine Advanced Associate.
The Agency shall accredit persons in the practice of Medical Radiation Technology in one or more of these specific categories:
