State Policy
AUTHORITY: Implementing Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (20 U.S.C. 1681 et seq.), Article I, Section 18 of the Illinois Constitution, and Sections 10-22.5, 27-1 and 34-18(1) of The School Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 122, pars. 10-22.5, 27-1 and 34-18(1)) and authorized by Sections 2-3.6, 27-1 and 34-18(1) of The School Code (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1987, ch. 122, pars. 2-3.6, 27-1 and 34-18(1)).STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
It is the policy of the State of Illinois and the State Board of Education that no person shall be subjected to discrimination on the basis of sex in any program or activity supported by school district funds.
