Applicant Eligibility

Reg. 12105AUTHORITY: Implementing Section 65.56 of the Higher Education Student Assistance Act [110 ILCS 947/65.56] and authorized by Sections 20(f) and 65.56 of the Higher Education Student Assistance Act [110 ILCS 947/20(f) and 65.56].ILLINOIS STUDENT ASSISTANCE COMMISSION

a) a United States citizen or eligible noncitizen;
b) a resident of Illinois;
1. c) a borrower who has had an amount of educational loans forgiven pursuant to Section 428J or 428K of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (HEA); and
2. d) a borrower who has fulfilled the obligations set forth in Section 428J or 428K of the HEA in Illinois. [110 ILCS 947/65.56]

A qualified applicant shall be:
