Provider Qualifications
AUTHORITY: Authorized by Section 15 of the Sex Offender Management Board Act [20 ILCS 4026/15] and implementing Sections 15 through 18 of the Act; Section 8 of the Sexually Dangerous Persons Act [725 ILCS 205/8]; Sections 10(c)(2), 25(e), 30(c), 40(b)(1), 55(b), 60(c) and 65(a)(2) and (b)(2) of the Sexually Violent Persons Commitment Act [725 ILCS 207/10(c)(2), 25(e), 30(c), 40(b)(1), 55(b), 60(c), and 65(a)(2) and (b)(2)]; and Sections 3-3-7(a)(7.5), 3-6-2(j) and (k), 3-9-7(b), 5-3-2(b-5), 5-6-3(a)(8.5) and 5-7-1(f-5) of the Unified Code of Corrections [730 ILCS 5/3-3-7(a)(7.5), 3-6-2(j) and (k), 3-9-7(b), 5-3-2(b-5), 5-6-3(a)(8.5) and 5-7-1(f-5)].SEX OFFENDER MANAGEMENT BOARD
Only individuals licensed as Sex Offender Therapists, Sex Offender Evaluators or Associate Providers by the Illinois Department of Professional and Financial Regulation (DFPR) are approved to conduct the evaluation and treatment services described in the following Sections.
