Burden and Standard of Proof
AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by Section 6.3 of the Illinois Police Training Act [50 ILCS 705/6.3].ILLINOIS LAW ENFORCEMENT TRAINING AND STANDARDS BOARD
The complainant shall have the burden of proof. The standard of proof for any hearing conducted shall be by clear and convincing evidence.
