Requests for Public Records that Require Electronic Retrieval
AUTHORITY: Implementing and authorized by Section 3(h) of the Freedom of Information Act [5 ILCS 140], implementing Section 7 of the Illinois Environmental Protection Act [415 ILCS 5] and Section 5-15 of the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act [5 ILCS 100/5-15].ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY
a) A request for public records that requires electronic retrieval will be treated the same as any other request for public records, with the same timeline and extensions as set forth in Section 1828.501.
b) The Agency will retrieve and provide electronic public records only in a format and medium that is available to the Agency at its headquarters.
