1. a) Any Adopt-a-Trail Agreement may propose certain volunteer activities to be performed solely by registered volunteers at their own risk. Adopt-a-Trail volunteer activities may include any of the following:
2. 1) Spring cleanups;
3. 2) Accessibility projects;
4. 3) Trail maintenance, enhancement or realignment;

5. 4) Public information and assistance; or

   1. b) Volunteer activities shall not include work historically performed by Department employees, including activities that result in a reduction of hours or compensation or that may be performed by a Department employee on layoff, nor shall volunteer activities be inconsistent with the terms of a collective bargaining agreement.    2. c) The Department may approve other proposed volunteer activities on a case-by-case basis.
