Dogs are prohibited on all state-owned game management areas between the dates of March 15 and July 15 each year. Training of dogs is permitted in designated training areas. Field and retriever meets are only permitted at designated sites and must have secured a permit as provided in Iowa Code section 481A.22 that shows the exact designated site of said meet, and all dogs shall be confined to that site.
