Registered hunting preserves may prepare whitetails or other ungulates for hunters by cleaning, dressing, preserving, and packaging the meat. Packaging material shall bear the species name, date the animal was killed, and hunting preserve name in a legible fashion on the outside of the package. The tag shall remain with the meat during processing and shipment.
