1. 1. Principles of law and equity supplement this chapter unless displaced by a particular provision of this chapter.
2. 2. A statute governing a specific type of unincorporated nonprofit association prevails over an inconsistent provision in this chapter, to the extent of the inconsistency.
3. 3. This chapter supplements the law of this state that applies to nonprofit associations operating in this state. If a conflict exists, that law applies.
