Rule 40-13-4-.17. Contagious and Infectious Disease Programs

1. (1) In the eradication of infectious and contagious diseases the Commissioner is authorized to seize and require destruction of affected animals and materials. The cost of such destruction of animals and materials shall be borne by the owner.
2. (2) The Commissioner is authorized to pay indemnity for livestock destroyed in an eradication program provided that funds are available.
