Rule 40-1-2-.01. Definitions

The following words and terms as used in these rules shall have the meaning hereinafter ascribed to them:

1. (a) "Department" means the Department of Agriculture of the State of Georgia.
2. (b) "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Agriculture of the State of Georgia.
3. (c) "Hearing Officer" means the Commissioner or any other person designated by him as Hearing Officer. Any Hearing Officer, other than the Commissioner, shall be a person with previous legal experience.
