Rule 360-31-.03. Reciprocal Licensure Requirements

The Board may, at its discretion, waive the examination requirements for an applicant who is an orthotist and prosthetist and is:

1. (a) Is licensed under the laws of another state, territory or country, if the requirements for licensure at the date of his or her licensure were equal to or more stringent than the requirements in force in the State of Georgia; or
2. (b) Is certified as an orthotist or prosthetist by a national certifying organization that is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, and has educational and testing standards equal to or more stringent than the licensing requirements of the State of Georgia.
