Rule 140-2-.06. The State Sexual Offender Registry

(1) The GBI, and principally GCIC, is statutorily responsible as the repository of the state sexual offender registry for its establishment, operation, and management. (2) Agencies described in O.C.G.A. § 42-1-12 shall provide data on sexual offenders in a manner prescribed by GCIC. (3) Each sheriff's office must maintain accurate information on all registered sexual offenders residing within its jurisdiction, as required by law. (4) Each sheriff's office must update information on all registered sexual offenders, as required by law. Cite as Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 140-2-.06
