Rule 140-2-.01. Scope
The Rules of the GCIC Council apply to all agencies or persons with access to, or that operate systems which are used to process, store, or transmit CJI, as defined in Georgia law and Rule 140-1-.02. These Rules provide minimum standards associated with the creating, accessing, viewing, modifying, transmitting, disseminating, storing, and destroying CJI. Entities engaged in the exchange of fingerprint-based CHRI for non-criminal justice purposes are also governed by the standards promulgated by these Rules. Cite as Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. R. 140-2-.01
