Rule 120-2-2-.16. Time Computation

1. 1. In computing any time period prescribed in these rules, the day from which the designated period begins to run is not included. The last day of the period so computed is included, unless it is a Saturday, Sunday, or state holiday. Intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and state holidays are included in the computation.
2. 2. When a party may or must act within a specified time after being served and service is made under Rule 120-2-2-.14(1)(c)(ii)(3) (mail), (4) (leaving it with the Department), or (5) (other means consented to), three days are added after the period would otherwise expire under Rule 120-2-2-.16(1).
