- (1) It is the goal of the Legislature and each district school board that each public K-12 student remain in attendance throughout the school year, unless excused by the school for illness or other good cause, and comply fully with the school's code of conduct.
- (2) It is the goal of the Legislature and each district school board that the parent of each public K-12 student comply with the school's reasonable and time-acceptable parental involvement requests.
