No person or entity shall solicit, negotiate, advertise, or effectuate service warranty contracts in this state unless such person or entity is licensed and appointed as a sales representative. Sales representatives shall be responsible for the actions of persons under their supervision. However, a service warranty association licensed under this part shall not be required to be licensed and appointed as a sales representative to advertise its products.
