¹620.575 Rules of construction.--

1. (1) The rule that statutes in derogation of the common law are to be strictly construed shall have no application to this part.
2. (2) The law of estoppel and of agency shall apply under this part.
3. (3) This part shall be so interpreted and construed as to make uniform the law of those states that enact it.

4. (4) This part shall not be construed to impair the obligation of any contract existing when the act goes into effect nor to affect any action or proceedings begun or right that has accrued before this act takes effect, but otherwise all partnerships shall be governed by this part, whether formed before or after its effective date.
